Banana screen is suitable for high-load and high-intensity working conditions such as metal mines and coal.According to the principle of equal thickness screening, the screen surface is arranged in five or six sections with different inclination angles. Its unique structure makes it more suitable for working conditions where the material contains a large number of fine particles, and the classification effect of medium and fine coal is more significant.In the coal industry, large banana screens are favored by users for their large processing capacity, high efficiency and reliable performance. They are widely used in coal classification, dehydration, demediation and desliming.It can replace multiple equal-thickness screening systems consisting of a series of circular vibrating screens or linear screens.
Working principle
The banana-shaped vibrating screen is a self-synchronized heavy-duty equal-thickness screen. The screen box is approximately banana-shaped and the screen beam adopts a box-shaped beam.The vibrating screen transmission system consists of an electric motor passing through a pulley, a V-belt, and then a universal connecting shaft to the vibrator. The exciters are connected by an intermediate transmission shaft.The screen surface adopts the form of fold lines with different inclination angles, and the thickness of the material layer does not change from the inlet end to the outlet end.The ratio of material amount to flow rate on each section of the screen surface is stable, the material layer is high and uniform, the screening efficiency is significantly improved, and the processing capacity is 1-2 times higher than that of the vibrating screen with the same effective area.For materials with a high content of fine particles, especially when the material content is less than 1/2 of the classified particle size, the banana vibrating screener has higher screening efficiency.
